With the aim of optimizing the management and real-time monitoring of emergencies, the Puente Alto Fire Department has implemented a major upgrade to its PTZ (pan, tilt, and zoom) camera system.
The system, which features cameras strategically installed on Cerro El Cardo and at the Fire Department Headquarters, allows for the monitoring of various critical points throughout the municipality, providing real-time images that facilitate decision-making during fires, rescues, and other emergency situations.
Thanks to this technological improvement, the Fire Department can more accurately assess the magnitude of incidents, coordinate the deployment of units more efficiently, and enhance the safety of both operational personnel and the community. The initiative represents a key step forward in the modernization of technological resources, aiming for a faster, more informed, and more effective response to emergencies.
