The “Inspector Jesús Hannus Vigar” Technical and Logistics Center, inaugurated on December 13, 2023, and located at 275 Nemesio Vicuña Street in Puente Alto, plays a strategic role in the logistics and operational management of the Fire Department. During 2025, the technical staff, under the coordination of Mr. Manuel Molines, has strengthened preventive and corrective maintenance processes for major equipment, optimizing the operational availability of the institutional fleet.
The implementation of this workshop has made it possible to reduce costs associated with external maintenance and decrease downtime, increasing the internal repair capacity for 38 machines. During the period, approximately 135 repair services were recorded, including technical support interventions for neighboring fire departments, consolidating the center as a specialized technical support unit.
