Progress continues on the construction of the Fourth Company’s new fire truck, a vehicle that will strengthen emergency response capabilities and improve the service provided to the community.
The vehicle is a Shacman L3000 model, equipped with a 6.7-liter Cummins engine, designed to provide power, reliability, and efficiency in emergency operations. The unit will also feature a pump with a capacity of 3,600 liters per minute and a monitor nozzle with a flow rate of 45 liters per second, which will allow for more efficient response to larger-scale fires.

The cab will have capacity for six firefighters, with two front seats and four rear seats, allowing for the safe transport of personnel to various emergency scenes.
Information on the construction progress was provided by Liu Yamin, Secretary to the Ambassador of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Chile, who has facilitated communication regarding this process.
The future addition of this unit represents a significant step forward for the company, strengthening its operational capabilities and helping to improve emergency response for the benefit of the community.
